JttSP was the debut title for Typhoon Studios. This project was a completely blank slate that was taken all the way from conception through to shipping.

We were able to invest in audio systems early on that enabled us to create a large high quality project with a small team such as; A script/VO system that allowed new lines to be heard in-game in less than 20 mins from being written as well as handling all subtitles and output scripts for recording sessions. A broad strokes ambient sound system that allowed the spawning of sounds around the player from audio groups to add density to any area quickly. And a reactive music system that allowed a small amount of music to be remixed on the fly based on how much ‘action the player was experiencing at any given moment in the game.

Other audio highlights were the exotic creature voices that were often comical in their nature but crafted to be believable alien creatures, the always-present AI companion EKO voiced by Kendall Savage and collaborating with Brian D’Olivera and La Hacienda on the musical composition.
